let it be known
that i will not cannot function in the company of others before 8am. not happening.
6:30am - sister sends me a picture message of my sweet niece. i at least look at it before groaning and rolling back over, silently cursing my twin. respond at 9am.
7:00am - the neighbor’s kid is playing basketball, and all i can hear is him dribbling the ball over and over and over. WHY ARE YOU NOT GETTING READY FOR SCHOOL, KID? WTF? this goes on for at least half an hour.
7:40am - job recruiter calls my cell phone. just… no. he’s on his way to work, and i’m not even out of bed yet. return his call at 9:45 after he emails me (persistent, huh?).
i don’t understand people who can actually speak to other people first thing in the morning? i need a shower and breakfast before i can be even remotely civil to anyone (note: this really sucks for the boy, who is 100% a morning person).
